ANPEQ provides fiber optic components for Germany's first optical LNB installation

14. July 2009, Dusseldorf - BIG Medienversorgung, a multimedia company based in Dusseldorf Northrhine Westfalia, Germany, provides the regional housing industry, building companies, hotels, hospitals, universities, the industry, etc. with high speed multimedia services and broadband access. As the first operator in Germany, BIG Medienversorgung provides full satellite coverage to a Cologne residential facility, using LNBs with optical signal outputs at a wavelenght of 1310nm. The signal is then distributed throughout the building and fed directly into the living room where it is converted into RF-signals via a corresponding termination unit. ANPEQ, General Importer and Distributor, delivers the passive fibre components, such as the preterminated, splice-free QuikPush Cables from Miniflex and the Splitter and Coupler in LGX housings  from ROTAl, Israel. These components allow plug-and-play installations, reducing the overall deployment costs and time significantly.

ANPEQ GmbH signs agreement with Swedish QuiQom AB

13. July 2009, Neumarkt - The Swedish research, development and manufacturing company QuiQom AB will be represented by ANPEQ GmbH in the Germanic markets (Austria, Switzerland and Germany) effective immediately. ANPEQ´s target market segments include the building  industry, large property owners, MDU (multi dwelling unit) management organizations, institutions, governments, hotels, hospitals, universities, telephone providers, city carriers, cable-TV operators, utility companies, etc. where QuiQom's patented MoCA-based triple-play networking solutions - Q-LAN - are deployed. The product range will also be marketed through retailers, system integrators and network planners. QuiQom's Q-LAN is an Ethernet-over-Coax access solution, that uses the existing CATV infrastructure in the buildings without effecting the services that are already in place; an easy, fast and cost effective way of bringing triple-play-services to the home or desk. The active network components can be managed remotely by the providers own local management server. For smaller installations QuiQom provides access to their server infrastructure in Stockholm via VPN-tunnel, allowing authorized operators to manage every device in their network at the push of a button from any PC.

ANPEQ GmbH and ROTAL cooperate in the marketing of FTTX solutions in Central Europe

1. July 2009, Tel Aviv/Neumarkt - Since 1st July 2009 ANPEQ Ltd in Neumarkt represents the Israel manufacturer and supplier of FTTX components and triple play solutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Being the biggest network equipment supplier for HOT, Israel's only nationally active cable-TV provider and BEZEQ, and the former telecom monopoly, ROTAL has the required skills and experience in the development and expansion of powerful communication networks. Also in the provision and installation of IP networks for the Israel kibbutzim. ROTAL has taken a lead with 60% market share, and it has in the recent past been internationally successful. In 2005 ROTAL provided for the housing companies portal in Holland, 20,000 WEs integrated into a FTTH network, with triple play and IP services. By developing products which are competitive both in price and performance, ROTAL always causes a stir with its own R & D.
